Dr Singh who runs his botox clinic in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, in his latest blog shares his thoughts on men and botox.

Men and Anti-Wrinkle Injections
We all know more and more men are looking after themselves, going to the gym, juicing and eating healthier foods. In the 1990’s men were starting to use moisturiser, in the noughties it was a small amount of guyliner, and today the most popular cosmetic treatment in the world for men is Botox or Brotox.
What types of men are getting Botox treatment?
Many of the men that are getting Botox treatment come from all walks of life, different backgrounds, religion, ages and career. Many are builders, doctors, bankers, entrepreneurs and those jobs in-between. At the moment there is no specific trend in terms of who is having the Botox injections.
How is Botox treatments different for men?

Why are men opting for Botox Injections?
There are a number of reasons why men are turning to Botox treatments. Many men are in sales or marketing roles and want to look their best when meeting clients, sourcing deal and want to be in par with their younger work force. botox referrals

Dr Singh who runs his botox clinic in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, in his latest blog shares his thoughts on getting botox referrals.

Your clinic and staff need to be on brand – botox patients are cosmetically orientated and therefore like visually attractive clinics/designs, etc
Your botox clinic and staff need to create the “wow factor” throughout the whole customer journey for your botox clients. Your clients need to have trust and faith in all you do and feel you create value for the investments they make in your clinic.
Referrals can be generated by you as the clinician, your team members especially your reception team, via friends, family and your existing patients.
This can be done after you see a patient in your botox clinic, after you speak to a patient over the phone, or via marketing and
Protocol to capture the referral information is necessary and ideally you would like to utilise and benefit from all the methods.
There are many types of referral marketing methods out in the professional world, but how do you know which method to focus on? – Direct referral marketing? – Internal referral marketing? – External referral marketing? – Internet referral marketing?
Having a referral system set up can get you botox referrals that will generate business to your company.
Setting up a working, credible referral system isn’t the easiest mission to arrange, BUT remember you have the opportunity to capitalise on referral marketing.

Botox treatment and or Botox injections are used to soften and smooth out wrinkles and fine lines which can have a positive mental benefit for many people such as, increase in self-confidence and self-esteem.
Botox has fast become one of the most sort after effective non-surgical treatments to give people a younger, glowing, line free appearance. The youthful appearance takes between three to seven days to appear. The effects of the Botox treatment will last between four to six months. For best results, it is advised that Botox Injection re-application is required 3 to 4 times per year.
Botox injections are predominately used for:

Botox is injected into the specific muscles with a very fine needle; this blocks the signals from the nerves to the muscles. The Botox injected muscles can no longer contract, causing the specific facial muscles to relax; this in turn softens the facial lines.
Having the Botox treatment is safe, quick and there is minimal discomfort however all Botox treatments must is conducted by a professional, qualified and registered nurse. The Botox treatment takes around 30 minutes depending on the area being treated and does not require any anaesthesia.
The advantages of having Botox treatment are that there are very little side effects. The most common side effect of having the treatment is headaches, these resolve within 24 to 48 hours, however this is extremely rare. A small number of people following treatment have developed dropping eyelids. This occurs because when the Botox moves around, you are advised to not touch the treated area for 12 hours or more after the treatment. This will usually resolve itself within three weeks.
